R.E. Closure of the gym

It is with great regret to announce that the Hotel has decided to close the Proxima Gym – Health and Fitness Operation as from 1/06/16. This is part of our business economic plan to allow for the necessary re-development, renovation and refurbishment of the overall centre which may take around 6 months or so.

On behalf of everyone at the Centre we would like to thank you for your custom over the past years. We will issue a press release and marketing information on the opening of our new centre and hope to see you again soon.

The Director

The Proxima Health and Fitness Centre boasts an extensive array of facilities, including a fully air-conditioned gym with a brand new range of Life fitness designed cardio and weight training equipment. The leisure facilities also include an indoor heated therapy pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi to unwind in as well as a relaxation area.

Please note that we do not admit children under 10 and children aged 10-16 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

On joining the Proxima Health and Fitness Centre you will receive a membership pack with all the information necessary to make the most of your membership. Experienced fitness instructors are on hand to give you advice and develop your individual training schedule.

We also offer a wide range of holistic and beauty therapies to hotel guests, gym members and non-residents (see below for further information). Our beauty therapist is NVQ Level 3 qualified and has a professional approach to her treatments.
