Originally a large period farmhouse and outbuildings, The Rivenhall Hotel was considerably extended and converted to a hotel in the late 1960's.

Since buying the Rivenhall Hotel in 2005, Greenwoods Estates has completed major refurbishments to the Reception, Lounge, Bistro, Banqueting suites, Fitness Centre and Conference rooms, making the Rivenhall one of the most exclusive venues in Essex.

Our facilities now include; a modern bar and lounge area, an original oak beamed Wildberry bistro, 55 bedrooms, 7 conference rooms, a large newly refurbished Banqueting suite and a brand new  Hi-Life Fitness Centre.

Wedding Fayre 2009

The Rivenhall Hotel will be hosting a Wedding Fayre on the 29th March 2009 to celebrate our newly refurbished banqueting suite which has been remodeled by a team of designers and can cater for up to 180 people.

We will be exhibiting everything from Cakes to Stationery and Flowers.

Location

The Rivenhall Hotel is located at the heart of Essex, just off the busy A12 trunk road midway between Chelmsford and Colchester where it by-passes the small town of Witham.

Its strategic location means that the hotel is just a 20 minute drive to the M25 and 25 minutes from Stansted Airport. There are fast and frequent rail services to London's Liverpool Street Station and the hotel has easy links to the Channel Ports and Haven Ports.
